The French militia and their Native American allies were feared during the French & Indian War.  Together, they defeated General Braddock’s British army and captured several forts.  During the American Revolution, both French and Native Americans would help the British against the American rebels.

This book contains 41 soldiers: 19 militia and an officer from Quebec, Montreal, and Trois-Rivieres, 19 Indian warriors with muskets, bows, and tomahawks, 2 cavalrymen of the Corps de Cavallrie, and one Jesuit “Blackrobe” priest.
